Anti-MID2 Goat Polyclonal Antibody
MID2 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The MID motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to microtubular structures in the cytoplasm. Its function has not been identified. Alternate splicing of the gene encoding MID2 results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Approx 80kDa band observed in mouse heart lysates (calculated MW of 81.3kDa according to NP_036348.1 and 77.9kDa according to NP_438112.1). Recommended concentration: 1-3µg/ml. In paraffin embedded Human Kidney shows strong staining in cytoplasm and brush border of some epithelial cells of proximal convoluted tubules. Recommended concentration, 5-10µg/ml. This antibody is expected to recognise both human isoforms of this protein.
