Anti-MAP2K2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
MEK2, a MAP2K type protein kinase, is a member of the Ras MAPK pathway. This pathway modulates the activity of transcription factors, structural proteins and other protein kinases, leading to biological responses such as cell proliferation and differentiation. MEK2 contains a proline-rich segment that is recognized by the scaffold protein MEK binding partner-1 in vitro but not in vivo. Similar to MEK1, MEK2 is phosphorylated by several kinases, including Raf1, c-Mos and MEKK1. Activated MEK2 associates with and phosphorylates MAP kinases ERK1 and 2. The inhibition or degradation of this kinase is found to be involved in the pathogenesis of Yersinia and anthrax.

MAP2K2 antibody can be used in ELISA starting at 2.5 ?g/mL, Western Blot, immunohistochemistry starting at 5 ?g/mL, and immunofluorescence starting at 10 ?g/mL.
