The response time on the meter may be set to fast (0.2 seconds) or slow (1.5 seconds). A memory data-hold function stores the highest reading achieved for later display. Meter uses a 1.3 cm (1/2") condenser microphone, and a recorder jack captures readings (AC and DC 10mV/dB).
The meter provides weightings for both A (frequencies for 500 to 10kHz) and C (frequencies from 30 to 10kHz) to meet IEC 651 Type-2 standards.
Certifications: A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
