This short-path distillation apparatus is designed for small quantities, where holdup between flask and receiver must be minimized, but where it is also desired to measure vapor temperature with the accuracy of larger apparatus

The still body is available with or without a vacuum jacket, and with or without vigreux indents (which provide greater efficiency). The upper hose connections are for water lines; the lower connection for vacuum or vent. The main joints on the apparatus are [ST] 14/20. Thermometer joint and bleed tube are [ST] 10/18. Cow receiver is one piece. Hose connections are size A, for use with ⁵/₁₆" I.D. tubing. Apparatus is fabricated from borosilicate glass.
