About this item

For determination of relative viscosities by measuring time of flow of a definite volume of fluid through a standard capillary.

  • Pear-shaped
  • Requires at least 2 mL of sample fluid
  • For the determination of relative viscosity of samples

The pear-shaped bulbs provide a gradual slope for delivery of liquid along sides and entrances to capillary. Adjusted to give delivery time of 80–100 seconds for water at 20°C (68°F). Requires minimum sample of 2 mL.
