The 7.6 cm (3") core fits standard tape rolls up to 25 mm (1") wide, and accepts tape rolls with a maximum diameter of 13.3 cm (5¼"). The base is 21.3x8.7x9.5 cm (8³/₈x3³/₈x3³/₄"), with a 10.2x15.2 cm (4x6") platform. Shipping weight is 1.8kg (4 lbs.). The dispenser accepts SCIENCEWARE® Write-On™ Label Tape in both 40 yard and 60 yard rolls.

The epoxy-coated steel platform features finger holes for releasing the tape, and a cut-off edge for one-handed use. A weighted base with non-skid pads prevents sliding or lifting.
