The mixer combines the motions of an orbital shaker and rocker to produce a gentle yet thorough three dimensional orbit

For temperature controlled incubations, the mixer may be used in a cold room or incubator. The housing and platform can be easily cleaned and decontaminated.

Blot boxes are available in two sizes. The smaller boxes (95057-440) are ideal for mini protein gels. The larger boxes (95057-442) are sized for larger protein gels. Both boxes feature a hinged lid with positive catch for secure closing.

The pitch and speed are fixed to ensure the optimal conditions for processing western blots and staining gels. The tilt angle is large enough to thoroughly distribute solutions, yet small enough to prevent blot centers from drying out. As a result, minimal solution amounts can be used, conserving valuable probes and antibodies. A non-slip rubber mat is included to keep items in place while on the platform.
